We have a full and exciting remainder of the year ahead of us. Our lineup begins with our Fall Quarterly Auction, which features the outstanding and rich collection of Esther B. Ferguson. We are delighted to offer items from the estate of one of Charleston’s leading lights in the fine and decorative arts. You’ll find more detail and highlights of her collection within these pages.
Less than a week after our Fall Quarterly Auction, we’ll hold our second auction of the Estate of the late Richard C. Siskey and Diane Siskey, the first of which was conducted in July of this year. This second auction consists entirely of fine and rare wine and offers over 1,000 lots. Our research shows that this auction is the largest auction of fine and rare wine in the Southeast’s history—an offering every bit as extraordinary and memorable as a perfect vintage.
November brings the auction of another beautifully curated single-owner collection: the Estate of the late Keith and Caroline Gray of Charlotte, North Carolina. Caroline Gray was a lifelong aficionado of the arts and antiques, a preeminent professional appraiser and former President of the Carolinas Chapter of the International Society of Appraisers. She was also on both the Board of Trustees and the Acquisitions Board of Charlotte’s Mint Museum, and was deeply involved in the Museum’s many programs. We are honored to receive the Grays’ distinguished estate.
And before we know it, we’ll be offering our Winter Quarterly Auction in December, all the while conducting numerous estate gallery and online-only auctions throughout these eventful autumn months. Stay tuned and stay connected to us—at lelandlittle.com.
